The Malibu Triathlon hired me to develop a digital and PR strategy for their longtime corporate sponsor in a contract renewal year. I also directed and managed the celebrity division of the event.
Our social media and influencer strategy was well-received and resulted in a renewed sponsorship. I also worked closely with a PR agency to schedule media appearances and plan events for the 50 celebrities who participated in the race, on race day and in the months leading up. Those events included visits to Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, triathlon training sessions, and cocktail parties and dinners.
